You are cordially invited to the public viewing of Paul S. Benjamin's commission for the City of Chicago. This event will take place at Abbott Park Senior Center 49 E. 95th Street, Chicago, IL 60619 ( between Michigan Ave and State Street) on Thursday, June 7, 2007, at 12:00pm.
This recently completed work consists of two series (8 works total) capturing a part of the history and culture of Chicago.
Chicago: Migration of Hope and Promise pays homage to those who migrated to Chicago in search of a better life. North by South, East by West is a tribute to musicians and entertainers who visited the city and shaped the Jazz and Blues sounds.
